Frequently Asked Questions
How the dashboard, the predictor models, and billing work.
The dashboard
What does SPX Analytics actually show me?
A live SPX/VIX intraday chart, the SPX gamma exposure (GEX) map and what changed in it since the last poll, an intraday price target derived from that gamma map, a VIX/VVIX volatility-regime panel, and three weighted directional predictor models (SPX, QQQ/TQQQ, SOXX). Market data refreshes automatically — the chart every ~10 seconds during market hours, the gamma map roughly once a minute.
What does the SPX/VIX crossover arrow mean?
SPX and VIX are plotted on two independent real-price axes (they're never numerically comparable), so a "crossing" means the two lines' positions within their own day's range flip — a red ▼ marks VIX moving above SPX in that sense (a sell-leaning signal), a green ▲ marks SPX moving back above VIX (buy-leaning). You can also configure a webhook so a buy/sell crossing POSTs a JSON alert to your own endpoint — see your Profile page.
Is any of this a live brokerage connection?
No. SPX Analytics only reads market data — it never places, routes, or manages an order, and it isn't connected to any brokerage account.
The predictor models
How do the SPX/QQQ/SOXX predictor scores work?
Each model is a set of weighted indicators (gamma exposure, VIX level and term structure, dark-pool flow, put/call ratios, momentum, and more) auto-populated from live market data. Each indicator scores from -2 to +2 against fixed bands; the weighted average maps to a P(up) percentage and a bias/confidence label. You can see every indicator's current value, weight, and contribution on the model's own panel.
Is this financial advice?
No. The predictor scores are deterministic output of formulas applied to market data — not a recommendation, and not tailored to your financial situation. See the Legal page for the full disclaimer.
What's the difference between the free trial and a subscription?
Every new account gets a free trial with full access, including the predictor models. Once the trial ends, the SPX/VIX chart, gamma map, and volatility-regime panel stay free — the predictor models (and their probability history) require an active subscription.
Billing
How much does it cost?
$25/month, or pay yearly for 30% off. Manage or cancel anytime from your Profile page — cancelling stops future billing but doesn't retroactively charge or refund the current period (see the Legal page's Refund Policy).
How do I update my card or cancel?
Go to Profile → Manage Billing. That opens Stripe's own billing portal, where you can update your payment method, switch between monthly/yearly, or cancel.
